How We Built the Top Notch Signs Website.
We designed and developed a bespoke website for Top Notch Signs, a Signage Supplier business based in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. The aim was to create a clear, professional online presence that reflects the business properly, supports its users and gives the team a website they can continue to manage with confidence.
The Brief
Top Notch Signs are based just down the road from us here in Lee-on-the-Solent so naturally found us on Google and got in touch when looking for a fresh new design of their main eCommerce website. We did not need to edit the website shop functionality in any way; this was purely a cosmetic, user journey and SEO task. We took a full copy of the current website and got to work!
The Solution
Strong imagery and excellent user experience are crucial to a great online shop. We reworked the layouts and design for a more pleasant user journey, then looked the user experience making sure the right buttons were in the right places. With some added editing functionality like galleries and banner images, Top Notch has full control over the growth of the website going forward. Some of the imagery has been updated with a view to this being an ongoing task for the team to get everything up to scratch with the new design. Launching the site required a little bit of downtime as we applied our changes to the live website, but within a few hours it was business as usual… but much better.
The Result
The team were so pleased they asked us to get to work on one of their sister company websites straight away. Watch this space!
