It’s a terrible condition that means we can’t just throw something together and send it out the door. If we did, this strange reaction called a conscience would kick in.
We could churn out cheap template websites and call it a day, but we’re simply not built that way.
The upside for you? A website that’s been properly thought through, carefully built, tested, refined and designed to look great, work brilliantly and be easy to manage.
Because if we were paying good money for a website, that’s exactly what we’d expect too.

Just a short stroll from Lee-on-the-Solent beach, our studio is based at the Innovation Centre alongside the historic Daedalus airfield in Hampshire.
It’s a bright, modern space (alarmingly tidy, we know), complete with a comfy sofa and a big screen ready for project chats.
If you’re really lucky, you might even catch the Spitfires taking off.
So, why Eldo?
I started Eldo over ten years ago because I was tired of how overcomplicated the web design world had become.
Working in the industry at the time, I saw too many businesses being buried in jargon, sold things they didn’t need, and left confused about what they were actually paying for.
So I thought: let’s do it properly.
Be honest. Be approachable. Build websites people can actually use. Keep clients in the loop. Reply to emails. Don’t treat people like numbers on a spreadsheet.
Since then, Eldo has grown steadily and sensibly. No investors, no trendy agency nonsense, no ping pong tables (we do have a very nice office though). Just consistent work, happy clients, and a reputation for being reliable, friendly and human.
We’ve now delivered over 500 websites for businesses of all shapes and sizes. Some small, some big, all important.
The approach is still the same today: Listen first. Build second. Support always.

That’s why our hosting uses 100% renewable electricity, and we also support tree planting to help offset the footprint of the websites we create.
Over time, that’s grown into something we’re really proud of – our own little Eldo forest.
