Annual renewal

Hosting is billed per calendar year. We’ll contact you around four weeks before your renewal date with your invoice for the following year.

Managed hosting

Eldo Hosting is managed exclusively for websites built by Eldo Web Design Ltd. To maintain security and performance, direct access to your website’s files and database is not provided. However, you still own your website – and we can supply a full backup of your site and database at any time, free of charge. You’ll always have full admin access to manage and update your site content.

Domain and email

We do not manage domain registrations or email accounts. These will remain with your chosen provider and simply point to your hosted website.

DNS and IP changes

In rare cases, we may need to change server IPs. If so, we’ll need access to your domain settings or your cooperation to update DNS records to avoid downtime.

Hosting-related support

If any issues arise that are directly related to your hosting, we’ll resolve them promptly at no extra cost. If a problem is caused by third-party factors (e.g. plugin conflicts or malicious activity), we’ll discuss any charges before carrying out the work.

Maintenance and updates

Security updates for your website are applied as needed, typically daily. Our ‘TLC’ cover includes monitoring, daily backups, updates and patching for WordPress. It does not include content updates, design changes or new functionality.

Uptime and availability

We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain 24/7 uptime. In the unlikely event of downtime, we’ll keep you updated until service is fully restored. While we aim for 100% availability, we’re not liable for any financial losses caused by downtime.

Cancellation

You can cancel hosting at any time. We’ll provide a full copy of your website files and database upon request. Please note, we don’t offer refunds for unused portions of your hosting term.
