I first became aware of Eldo when I happened to come across a blog they had written called “Why your website probably isn’t very good and why no one is telling you”.
Coincidentally, we were in the process of getting quotes for a new website for Rowans Hospice which all seemed to involve page builders and plugins, so the blog turned out to be an eye-opener. I contacted Scott for a chat and the rest is history.
The quote Eldo gave us for a new website was practically half of what we were being quoted elsewhere and from the moment we met Scott (and later Eldo) we knew our website was in safe hands.
We supplied a short design brief and Scott brought it to life quickly and professionally. We made a lot of changes and had lots of new, grand ideas throughout the process which were always greeted with a prompt and friendly response. Whatever we asked for was possible and we were given a lot more than we asked for.
Our new website is clean, modern, easy to navigate and simple to edit. Scott has continued to support us throughout and after the launch of the new website.
We are already in discussions about working with Eldo on another project and we have already recommended them to another local company and will continue to do so.
How We Built the Rowans Hospice Website.
We designed and developed a bespoke website for Rowans Hospice, a Palliative Care business based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. The aim was to create a clear, professional online presence that reflects the business properly, supports its users and gives the team a website they can continue to manage with confidence.
The Brief
We love helping our clients’ businesses with a new website and each new enquiry is always an exciting time. Every now and again we get a website enquiry that excites us that little bit more… Rowans Hospice are well known to most people who live on the South Coast of England. Providing specialist palliative care to those with life-limiting illnesses, they have played an important part in a lot of peoples lives, my own included. So when Marketing Officer, Dan, got in touch regarding a rebuild of their existing website, we were more than happy to help.
The Solution
The current website, although not too old, was already creaking at the seams. It had layout issues on different screen sizes, was very slow to load and navigation was not the easiest. Rowans worked hard to reduce the number of pages so we could create a much simpler navigation for the new website. Combined with fresh, easy to read and engaging layouts the website is now a pleasure to browse and easy to find what you need – quickly. The website is fully responsive so looks and works great on all devices and screen sizes. It is fully editable so the hard-working team at Rowans can easily update information, news, etc as and when, with ease.
The Result
Rowans Hospice now have a fast, engaging and easy to use website to help their users to find the information they need. They do an amazing job and we are more than proud to play a small part in helping them carry out the service they provide.
