I first became aware of Eldo when I happened to come across a blog they had written called “Why your website probably isn’t very good and why no one is telling you”.

Coincidentally, we were in the process of getting quotes for a new website for Rowans Hospice which all seemed to involve page builders and plugins, so the blog turned out to be an eye-opener. I contacted Scott for a chat and the rest is history.

The quote Eldo gave us for a new website was practically half of what we were being quoted elsewhere and from the moment we met Scott (and later Nathan) we knew our website was in safe hands.

We supplied a short design brief and Scott and Nathan brought it to life quickly and professionally. We made a lot of changes and had lots of new, grand ideas throughout the process which were always greeted with a prompt and friendly response. Whatever we asked for was possible and we were given a lot more than we asked for.

Our new website is clean, modern, easy to navigate and simple to edit. Scott and Nathan have continued to support us throughout and after the launch of the new website.

A little bit about the Rowans Hospice website project...

We love helping our clients businesses with a new website and each new enquiry is always an exciting time. Every now and again we get a website enquiry that excites us that little bit more… Rowans Hospice are well known to most people who live on the South Coast of England. Providing specialist palliative care to those with life-limiting illnesses, they have played an important part in a lot of peoples lives, my own included.

So when Marketing Officer, Dan, got in touch regarding a rebuild of their existing website, we were more than happy to help.

The current website, although not too old, was already creaking at the seams. It had layout issues on different screen sizes, was very slow to load and navigation was not the easiest.

Rowans worked hard to reduce the number of pages so we could create a much simpler navigation for the new website. Combined with fresh, easy to read and engaging layouts the website is now a pleasure to browse and easy to find what you need – quickly.

The website is fully responsive so looks and works great on all devices and screen sizes. It is fully editable so the hard-working team at Rowans can easily update information, news, etc as and when, with ease.

With a simplified Events section for better management and some nice touches added such as the lottery number finder, Rowans couldn’t be more pleased.
