Eldo have done a fantastic job of developing our new website. We had a set of quite complex business requirements here at C&J Marine that needed a bit of ‘hand-holding’ from Scott and Eldo. How We Built the C&J Marine Ltd Website.
We designed and developed a bespoke website for C&J Marine Ltd, a Marine Products business based in Chichester, West Sussex. The aim was to create a clear, professional online presence that reflects the business properly, supports its users and gives the team a website they can continue to manage with confidence.
The Brief
C&J Marine make and sell quality marine products, covers and upholstery from their headquarters in Chichester. They had an existing e-commerce website but it was starting to look tired, had some problems, was hard to navigate and update. Managing Director, Wayne and IT guru Aaron, popped in for a chat to get some advice. We sat down and went through their current website, found out more about their goals and needs and we came up with a strategy for their possible new website.
The Solution
We love having these sorts of chats with prospective clients. Far too often clients jump straight in with what they think they need, or what others are doing, without seeking advice on what’s possible. Taking the time to really explore what your needs are and what you want the website to actually achieve for you, is crucial to getting not only the best value for your money but making sure you end up with a tool for your business, not just a web presence. A short while later, we went over to visit the team at C&J Marine to get a better idea of the company, see their headquarters and meet more of the team. Then we got to work! This website is essentially four websites in one!
The Result
This was a great project to work on. Lots of interacting with the team at C&J Marine and opportunities to get across our ideas and by the end of the project everyone was super happy with what we achieved (and we got given some beer to say thank you!)
